SSAPPL has a fully equipped Chemical and Mechanical Testing Laboratory approved by LRIS where for each heat, chemical analysis and mechanical properties, tests are carried out in accordance with Indian and International standards. SSAPPL has facilities for microstructure analysis also.

MANUFACTURING FACILITIES

SSAPPL is fully equipped in all the manufacturing sections right from pattern manufacturing to finishing. The details of the facilities are in the enclosed annexe.

MOULDING PRACTICES

At SSAPPL, Silicate (CO2), Air set, Oil and Shell moulding sand practices are used depending on the quantity and quality requirements of castings, and also the intricacy.

IN-BUILT QUALITY ASSURANCE

At SSAPPL each item is carefully engineered for all manufacturing details right from pattern design to final inspection. Bulk production of an item commences only after satisfactory production of the sample. In order to maintain consistent quality, check lists are used for all manufacturing processes. The engineering and manufacturing details are exhaustively documented offering permanent information on the item.

APPROVALS AND RECOGNITIONS

SSAPPL is approved as a "WELL KNOWN FOUNDRY" by the Indian Boiler Regulations Act. SSAPPL is regularly supplying castings under third party inspection such as Engineers India Ltd. (EIL), Lloyds Register of Industrial Service (LRIS), Projects and Development India Ltd. (PDIL), Bureau Verities, Nuclear Power Corporation (NPC), etc.
